HELP US TO PLANT 1,000 TREES IN OAKLAND!

“Trees are good for the City in so many ways besides just their beauty. Trees save energy. Trees are good for our health. Trees conserve water and reduce soil erosion. Trees increase property values. Trees slow traffic. Trees promote wildlife. And trees have social and educational value.

For all of these reasons, I think that every community in Oakland deserves to have beautiful trees lining their streets. “

Free trees are available for planting in the sidewalk planting area for any property in Oakland.

We will inspect the site, cut the concrete if necessary, and purchase and plant your tree for you!

All you need to do is request a tree and agree to water the tree for one year.
